Wiring help

I'm working on putting 2 humbuckers in a stratocaster, and I have a sort of unusual set-up in mind as far as the wiring goes. I want there to be a 2 volume controls, one for each pickup, with no tone. The pickups to be controlled with a 3 way toggle switch, and the coil splitting to be controlled with 3 way level switch. 1 side 1 humbucker split, middle neither split, 2nd side 2nd humbucker split. Anyone can help me out with the wiring for this?

Thanks in advance.

The pickup/volume/main switch is pretty easy.

On the coil splitter, you're saying you want a 3 way switch that in one position has both of the coils closer to the bridge running, or both of the coils closer to the neck running or all the coils running.

I'm far from an expert, but my understanding is that if you do that, you'll not have any hum-cancelling in the middle position.

Or you might be able to set it up so that the two inside coils are running OR the two outside coils are running. I've never seen that done with a separate 3 way pickup selector and a 3 way toggle, but I had a guitar that was wired like a modified Big Apple strat. You could either have the full bridge HB, the two inside coils, both full HBs, the two outside coils or the full bridge neck. It was basically hum-free in all positions. You could wire it like that, then add a mini toggle or a push pull that would split either or both pickups to allow for neck split only or bridge split only.

The problem I have is that all strat pickguards come with a pre-made slot for a 3/5- way level switch and I would want to use a LP style toggle to control pickups, and then use a 3 way tele switch to control the coil tapping which i would put in the lever switch slot. The way I want it is in position 1, 1 humbucker is tapped, in the 2nd (middle)position neither are tapped, and then in the 3rd position 2nd humbucker is tapped. Like that.

Hrmm... Not sure about using 3-way tele-type switches. I'm sure you could do what you want with a 5 way super switch and maybe 1 additional 3 way mini toggle.

Just to throw out there, several places will make you whatever strat pickguard for a fairly reasonable price. Gibson-type switches, 1 or 2 pots if you like, spaced differently if you like...
