Members Mr. Masterbilt
They are way ahead of the Gibson division in coming up with new variations of guitars and innovations at prices working peole can afford. This guitar was never my taste, but with mini Hums and a Whammy and an MSRP. of $750 (which equates to about $350 -$400 street), it's a hell of a guitar for the $$. http://www2.gibson.com/Products/Electric-Guitars/Doublecut/Epiphone/1966-Worn-Wilshire-Tremotone.aspx

Members Mr. Masterbilt
Too cool. I love the "E" logo on the tremtone. Kinda Retro, huh? ! I remember when I woked in an MI store in college many years back. Guys tried to hide those logos because they thought it made a statement that they were too cheap to buy a real guitar. Now, its the opposite. People like that logo! Go figure.
Members ExiledCrow
Well, it is a lot easier to roll the dice on a $400 product than a $4000 product. So there's that. There's also the fact that Gibson USA did sort of paint themselves into a corner by focusing on the market of boomer nostalgia and "lifestyle" branding. Members d_dave_c
MSRP $750 is going to street at $450. I like the wide necks on those Wilshires.
