Neck is pretty dang thin but round. Music man feel not flat like an ibanezSounds HUGE neck pup brings out the hollow bodyness of it bridge pup is just damn punchy and great. Wouldent say its shrill or tinny just sounds like the densest wood you can imagine haha

Members dc*
cool and very different, personally I'd have gone for a polished aluminium finish for the body but definitely one of the most interesting NGD's I've seen for a fair while

Members lealand987
Yeah polished is sweeet as is brushed aluminum. Ano just has that really cool matte look and only requires windex for cleaning tyan again the neck needs polish haha Oh man i know a guy with one of those basses its like playing a whole tree hahaha!Considering sending my epiphonetelecaster body(marginally lighter than this egc) to get re necked by this guyHe did someone elses tele and daaaamn it looked wicked

HahaKevin burkett got started restoring old travis bean guitars(the classssic aluminum necked ones with the koa bodys) and eventually started building these! I thought Steve Albini used an older aluminum necked guitar, only a handful of the kind he plays exist. Or so I read. What's the advantage of the aluminum neck? How's it change the tone? Members jelloman
Joe Perry used to use a Travis Bean for slide work...I saw him with the old Project in poughkeepsie once...he draped it over the mic stand after "Let the Musid Do the Talking" and it of course hit the floor HARD with the volume wide open...never went out of tune...HNGD!
