Older MIK Epi LP - Peter Greenified with BG Green Lizard set... Since this shot I have changed the plain amber knobs for the neck controls to plain gold and the toggle switch tip back to cream so it more closely matches the original's look...:o

Not an Epi, but a cheaper Chinese made Eleca LP copy that I bought on ebay for around $150 a few years back. This is actually a great player. I did upgrade the pickups to Dimarzio EJ Customs, new pots, orange drop caps, new tuners and nut, and most recently added the vibramate/bigsby rig. I love the way this guitar sounds/plays!

My MIJ Epiphone Crestwood and my Samick Les Paul Custom(they used to make Epiphones in Korea). The Les Paul is all original but the Crestwood has a Dimarzio Super II in the bridge and an Air Norton in the neck position.

this was my 2009 touring rig, all Epis except for the MIJ Orville Les Paul Standard.

And here are the Epis I had collected at one time, all but the Cherry custom and Black custom are gone now.

Mods included pickup swaps, hardware upgrades, and wiring upgrades.

This is my son's mid 90s LP birdseye. It has a Duncan 59 in the bridge, a Schaller hb in the neck, upgraded pots, caps. Sperzel locking tuners on it now, too.

And even though it isn't a Les Paul, it looks like one. And it is an Epi, so :p

BG Pure 90 in the bridge, 18:1 Grover open gear tuners, all new pots and caps, etc.

My God-

Everyone's got some REALLY nice Epi's! Mine is a Honeyburst like this, but yours has that Epi Japan Gibson Headstock! And it looks like yours has a nice subtle finish. :thu: I'm actually impressed by some of these finishes and the variety of Epi's and the mods.

Thank you, sir. It's a fantastic guitar that certainly lived up to the hype that MIJ guitars get. I replaced the pickups in it as well with some handwound PAF style from Stan Hinesley that make this guitar just sing.
