Members Flatspotter
Great deal! I got an orange B-stock 5120 with a very minor finish blemish for $500.
Members 59refin
While I love the idea of having a 5120, I have yet to be able to play one that would stay in tune past a chorus or two.

Members Oldskool Texas
I'm a little shocked to see they regularly sell for $750. Seems like they were $600 last time I looked.

Yeah they've been creeping up. Used to be about 525 new a few years ago. Now they seem to be anywhere from 650 to 700 regularly. The way the prices have been that's a decent deal, but one thing confuses me. Some of the pics are the old style with the clear PG and some are the new version with the silver gaurd. The gaurd isn't that big of a deal, but the silver gaurd one has better pups IMO (yes there is a difference.) So which version is it?

Did you play any that were actually set up and had the foam under the bridge removed?

I don't know why the 5120 would be any different.
Members dragoro
I couldn't stand having a guitar that said electromatic on it. Sounds like a kitchen appliance.

Gretsch has been using that name since 1954. I kinda like the retro sound of it.
