Members series
She wanna learn guitar now. So I plan to buy one for her as Valentine's gift. Looking to spend around $100-$200 ... I'm curious what the best bang for the buck would be. Obviously this 6-string guitar looks nice but other things to consider is size and comfortableness for a female. I dont choose Gibson, cuz she is a beginner. Any suggestion/tips?
Members Stricken
To be honest I would wait for a holiday or birthday for a guitar and do something more romantic on valentines day...

Members Buttcrust
Does she want an electric guitar, or an acoustic guitar ? (I assume electric, because this is the electric guitar forum).

Members mistersully
i'd spend a fair bit more than that... and get something that you love, that she'll hopefully have no use for within a month or two leave the price tag on it too... that way years later, when you're rockin' out with your sweet axe... you can remind her just how much money you spent on her on valentines day... with any luck she'll feel obliged to spend a lot on gifts for you good luck
Members DaleH
Classic vibe tele. Teles are a comfortable guitar for fenales. SGs have a nice short thin body also.

But seriously, hard to go wrong with a hello kitty strat: Cheap, good quality, not a toy, "cute", plus its Hello Kitty. Chicks love Hello Kitty. Members edremy
How about taking her out to a restaurant within walking distance of a music store, assuming you can find something like that? Have a nice time, then help her pick one out.
Members Alecto
How about taking her out to a restaurant Yeah, this is my thought as well. A guitar for her birthday is nice but for Valentine's Day, not so much. I'd say save the guitar for her birthday, and take her to a nice restaurant and buy her a gift certificate for a spa for Valentine's Day. She'll be most . . . appreciative. Members kayd_mon
Man, if I had a girl that wanted a guitar for Valentine's Day, I'd feel like I struck gold or something.
