Members Jarick
I always put reverb last because it's ambience while delay is more of an effect in my mind, but I use delay like The Edge or someone like that, it's more of a rhythmic thing. If it were slapback, it'd be a different principle, but I'd still use delay before reverb because the slap is mimicking the sound of the guitar bouncing off a wall while the reverb is mimicking the sound of the sound bouncing all around the room. Members niceguy
I run delay into reverb. Sounds too mushy for my use the other way round.
Members SnowViking
Delay into reverb obviously, how would putting reverb first work usefully? Set the delay right and the reverb is unnecessary as well.

Members ashasha
The answer is YES. Next question.... Look here noob..... ...so are you going to enlighten us on to just where the hell you've been the last few months? Oh and I usually end up with reverb as the last device in an FX chain. I usually go wah pedal > compressor/dirt > modulation (phaser, chorus, etc) > delay > reverb > amp. You can mix stuff around of course, but as a starting point this seems to be the best for me.
