Members BigBone
I was looking at those but am waiting for a few positive reviews. Last sx lap steel I bought from rondo had oversized holes drilled for the bridge posts so I sent it back. I would imagine that situation has been rectified by now though. Still tempted though. Members Oldskool Texas
My Industrial lap steel has an 8-pole True-Tone pickup that sounds a lot like a P-90. It's a great pickup for lap steel, especially if you like a little grit in your tone.
Members Quarter
In general, the SX steels from Rondo have potential and are prime candidates for some upgrades and mods. The ash version with the dog ear and upgraded tuners is a great start. Rondo also has an Agile version of the SX shape with a bit better components on it, though no ash 90. In my totally biased opinion, even my basic BG powered P90 steels walk all over anything Rondo sells .

Members Quarter
I have a 1950s Gibson BR-9 lap steel with a P-90. BR-9's are a lot of fun and still a decent buy. Some of the Gibson Ultratones came with P90's too.
