Members BoneNut
I've toured the Gibson plant. I don't think the working conditions are the same as a sweat shop. I do not know how well Gibson treats their employees with regards to wages and benefits, but I didn't see anyone underage toiling in unsafe working conditions. Not now, not anymore but at one time, underage "employees" and unsafe working conditions were common in USA. Of course, the country developed and labor became what it is now. That's what's happening in other countries, like China, right now.
Members fu2jobu
Nope. Nope. Nope, he didn't; or at least very little of it, like the trapeze tailpiece. He is a His name is the and his brand is his Hmmm, you may be somewhat right about the Les Paul model though all we may have left is the word of someone from Gibson... "McCarty also claims that design discussions with Les Paul were limited to the tailpiece and the fitting of a maple cap over the mahogany body for increased density and sustain". Then from other sources "He built the first Les Paul model guitar for Gibson Musical Instruments in 1952, and the basic design of the Les Paul Standard model is the same today as it was in 1958." At any rate, Paul was a guitar designer and some credit him for having built the first electric guitar. His name became a type of guitar. Which is a lot different, to me, than slapping different artists names on established guitar types. YMMV.
Members smorgdonkey
Anyone here honestly think that case is cool? I do. I think it's badass and if I could find one for $150 I'd have one.
Members smorgdonkey
Hey, if you think this is a pointless endorsement, I'd love to hear your thoughts on that shameless shill Zakk Wylde. That guy has a sig guitar, sig strings, sig pickups, sig amp, and even signature Shredneck, which is as stupid a thing as you could possibly attach your name to. So...if you were a rock guitar hero...and companies THREW MONEY AT YOU TO ALLOW THEM TO PUT YOUR NAME ON GEAR...you wouldn't take the money. F...I'd be a shameless shill. Members caveman
Nope, signature gear does nothing for me at all (other than making me not want to buy it). Unless there's real benefit in it, I feel the same way about signature gear. I respect the big time players but not enough to chase after their names on my gear. That's more of a newbie thing. Members vikingrat
Can't. I'm saving up for the Paul Dean sig case. It comes with a red headband.
Members MyNameIsMok...
You guys do realize these are flight cases and not Jimmy Page signature cases right? He uses and endorses them, that's it. If you don't ever fly a guitar then don't worry about it.

Members ExiledCrow
Meh, neither here nor there for me. If I needed a high quality flight-case (unlikely) and this case had the best price/features then, sure. If the specs/price are right for me, then I have nothing against sig-model anything. If they aren't, they aren't and I'll look to other products.

Members Reignman
The only signature item I own is a Genz Benz G-flex... that was a case of great gear with a name thrown on it... not {censored} with a name to make it sell.
Members Emory
I'll keep the cases I have. I sound just as good with them in my cases as Page does when his gits are in his cases. In case you wanted to know.... hmmm how about a brand of cases named "Federal"?
