Members Preacher
While I'm admittedly occasionally frustated by being 'duped' into reading through an old thread I really don't mind it too much. I've only been around for a couple years so sometimes I like seeing an earlier generation of posters talking about a subject. I guess I value gear and forum history a bit. If it doesn't interest me I don't click on it. It really doesn't bother me that it might be taking valuable 1st page space from the current Gibson QC or Agile thread. Members schoolie1
It would have been better to find a thread from 3 years ago that asked the same question. I love irony!
Members Willyguitar
Somebody also keeps resurrecting that old thread 'OMG my ultimate NGD is today' thread. Members murch33
Every time somebody creates another "What's the best ______ ?" thread, people come out of the woodwork to say "USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION N00B!" So when people actually start using the search function and pulling up old threads rather than creating new, now it's "WHY ARE N00BS RESURRECTING OLD THREADS?" Members *BLEEP*
Somebody also keeps resurrecting that old thread 'OMG my ultimate NGD is today' thread. I wasn't sure what it was all about when it all started, and I'm even less clear about it now. Three years ago, it was very very briefly about a NGD, but it quickly turned into an exercise in debauchery, a post-count gluttony exhibition, a message board, and mass celebration of each other's existence for the entities that live inside that thread. Members Bob411
I've thought about resurrecting old threads. You know the ones, "I just ordered a XXXXXXXxx, will post clips, and give a full review when it arrives" Just want to ask, well, it's been 5 years, WTF are the clips, and reviews? I'm new and I always just assume you're supposed to join in existing conversations before starting new ones although, on a couple occasions, I did start my own thread. We should get a consensus on which is the correct thing to do.

And whiskey. We like whiskey, too. Except Woody. He doesn't drink. But he has more GAS than the rest of us combined. That boy goes through more guitars than anyone I know. I think there was consensus that HC 2.0 sucked. That's the only consensus I remember. It's funny though. You start a new thread and people complain. Use the same one over and over and people complain. EG
