Hand wound BGpickups P-90 neck, chicken head knobs and Warmoth quality all shot with real nitrocellulose laquer! I'm in heaven!!!

That is such a fine looking guitar there Dan.

If it sounds half as nice as it looks it's gonna sound killer.

That P-90 you wound for me is excellent- pure bluesy smokey tone. Thanx a million!

Nice, bet she rocks with the 90 in there.

What tuners did you use? I have a warmoth neck on the way and I'm looking for vintage type tuners.

I just ordered the gotohs vintage from Warmoth when i ordered the neck along with the corian nut and metal decal.

Finish it yourself?

Yeah! went to Guitar Rre-Rranch and ordered 5 cans of clear Nitro. Easy to work with dries hard fast. Hardest part was marking of for the the natural binding as the stain would bleed over the edge but I found a nice easy way around this. a little sanding but it worked out great. lots of buffing-by hand 4 days worth I'm beat... phew!

Hi DMan11 I love the look of the guitar that you have built. I was on the Warmoth site and have a few questions to ask you about your build. Did Warmoth apply the orange color to the custom body? Did they build the neck for you? Did you order all the hardware from them and put it together yourself?

If you could answer these questions I would be eternally grateful. That is such a stunning looking guitar. I've been on the fence about building one myself, or getting a used one and putting in my own choice of pick ups. But your guitar made the decision for me. It is a unique looking Thinline. Thanks for your consideration. Mike
