Members Meowy Posted February 6, 2011 Members Posted February 6, 2011 OK, actually they are pointers, not just washers, but $195 http://cgi.ebay.com/1958-1959-1960-Gibson-Les-Paul-Standard-Burst-Pointers-/140499501169?pt=Guitar_Accessories&hash=item20b66c4071 (obviously I am not posting this inappropriately as a "Great Deal" out of the deal thread)
Members Crunchtime Posted February 7, 2011 Members Posted February 7, 2011 I'd hit it if it were free shipping.

Members WRGKMC Posted February 7, 2011 Members Posted February 7, 2011 I got a box of those things and if you pay more than $.25 you're being ripped off but you know theres some idiot out there on dope whose gonna argue old junk like that has mystical or religious powers that will give a guitar great tone or some other nonsence. I trusely believe there are some mentally ill people out there who think those things might be worth money, including the seller.

Members Baddass Posted February 7, 2011 Members Posted February 7, 2011 Same chump that was selling a 52 tele pickguard last year for 4000 bucks. I swear to God.
Members cratz2 Posted February 7, 2011 Members Posted February 7, 2011 This is probably why my LP project sounds like ass and looks like hell... new pointers. What on Earth was I thinking?
Members harold heckuba Posted February 7, 2011 Members Posted February 7, 2011 May be the same guy who is selling the 70's Ibanez sure-grip knob for $199 each. Since I have several guitars with four sure-grip knobs on them, guess I am rich.
Members gh0st Posted February 7, 2011 Members Posted February 7, 2011 Someone with a machine shop should mass produce those and make bank.
Members Meowy Posted February 7, 2011 Author Members Posted February 7, 2011 should mass produce those and make bank. fixed

Members Deadbeat Son Posted February 8, 2011 Members Posted February 8, 2011 Tone is in the pointers. I think that statement has something to do with your avatar...
Members scott944 Posted February 8, 2011 Members Posted February 8, 2011 Will they make my Epiphone/Agile/Xavier sound like a Gibson?
