Members thefallacy
it looks like it was dunked in maple syrup before the photo shoot and why is the tele like 5 times the size of your head in avatard?
Members GilmourD
I just sent him this. LOL You do realize this model has an MSRP of $2299.99 and a MAP price of $1699.99, don't you? For $3559.00, you could buy two of them pretty much anywhere else and have $159.02 left over.
Members fiveoclockhero
Despite the perceived values of status symbol brands and "boutique" builders, that's too much for ANY guitar. It's a GUITAR. Get some perspective on life, please.

Members RVIVR
It looks like CVS is asking $3.99 per picture to enlarge, but it seems a little overpriced. Per picture?? I swear I saw another place that does it for $.99 per picture. But what's average pricing anyways? INORITE?!... Wait, wut?

Members GilmourD
So, Douchey McDouchenut replied to me. I'm pretty sure I Listed the mrsp. So I am aware of the value. You think a top rated seller would know what they were doing especially sine they've sold over 50 guitars on eBay.- roguemusic1to which I replied Actually, no, you didn't list MSRP in any fashion in your listing. Besides that, sure, you've sold 50 guitars on eBay, but you're talking to somebody who's purchased thousands of instruments directly from Fender for a Gold-level Fender Authorized Reseller. I know Fender's models and prices. I also know that your price is wildly out of line. The same can be said for another listing of yours for a USED 2005 American Standard Telecaster in natural Ash ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Fender-Telecaster-American-Standard-ASH-/320655220782?pt=Guitar&hash=item4aa88a602e ). You say right in the listing that they sell new for $1200 but then you have a Buy It Now price of $2850. Either you're bad at math or you're being unethical and hoping that people will be too stupid to fall for it.

Members fiveoclockhero
GilmourD - I'd bet on "unethical". He boldly flouts the common sense rules for fair asking price and justifies it by proclaiming himself to be a master seller. He's just looking for dimwits to scam and it's a shame because he'll probably find them. Good on you for calling him out on his bull{censored}. It kind of pisses me off that it's not a mistake, he's just a jerk. It'd be nice if there was something to be done about that.

I don't have time to look it up since I have to get to bed so I can wake up early for my 9-month-old who SOMEHOW is a morning person... But, I wonder if what he's doing is actually against eBay's rules. Sure, if it bid up that high on an auction, that's people being stupid. However, he's using the BIN function. Members larryguitar
He can ask whatever he wants, I guess. Used car salesmen smell stories and smoke, and so do some music dealers. It's a shame, but you have to go through life-especially the purchasing parts of life-with your eyes open and your wits about you.
Members GilmourD
And this is his response to that last e-mail. The guitar isn't really for sale. If someone wants to inquire about it that's fine. For now it's enjoyable to hear Everyones ruckus. WTF?

Sorry, but trolling isn't worth money to me. listing fees are free this week.hes likely an hceg member waiting to see who makes an idiotic thread about his pricing. "OMG! he actually wants MONEY for his guitar!"ive never known why people would email sellers like this. if his price is stupid, noone will buy it. theres nothing unethical about it, its his property and he can ask a million dollars if he wants.
