Members Reignman
Whats your opinion of it? Is it worth the cashish and the trouble hunting one down? I am trying to give my friend the guitar he never purchased for himself... he's super selfless and It would be absolutely killer if I could spoil him after he spoiled me with the Dimartini custom shop pickup.. I have trade bait for sure and he always mentions a surf green Kotzen tele whenever we get into the fixed bridge stuff.. it's just his "grail"... he was overseas, played one for a moment and is pissed he didn't pick it up... Members zenbu
yeah I was going to say the one I tried in a local shop had the fattest neck I can remember...and I have a couple with big necks but that green Kotzen was huge...but I like big necks so I was OK with it. Price was what stopped me from buying it, I just won`t pay retail for guitars any more, gotta be used for me. Don`t see the green ones on the used market too often in Japan, I`m sure they`re around but maybe owners just don`t want to let em go.
Members straycat113
I am also knocking my head against the wall looking for one and will probably grab a tobacco burst one which with shipping will cost just about 2K. I am just holding out a bit longer after talking to Mike Eldred on the Fender Forum as their is a bit of a buzz a US model may be released. I modded my 85 62 MIJ Tele with DiMarzzio Fast Tracks, medium jumbo fret wire and brass saddles back in the 80s and it was my main ax for 13 years and still sounds killer, the bitch is just that 22 fret not being their and wishing for that chunkier neck lol. I do know Richies guitars are made in Japan and not here in the Fender CS.
