Members Still.ill
do they have the 60's neck profile or the the fat necks? also most gibson es-335's have the slimmer 60's right?
Members dcooper830
Mostly fairly chunky 50's style necks on the DOTs. However one of my DOTs has a slim profile neck. So it varies.
Members photon9
Epiphone Dots' necks are definitely thicker than Sheratons the vast majority of time.
Members curseoftruth
They vary as DCCooper states. I've played Dots with really fat necks and some with thinner 60s necks. My MIK Sheraton II has a 60s neck fo sho.
Members SpaceProg
It may depend on year of manufacture, perhaps? Or factory? My 97 Samick-made Dot doesn't feel like it has a thick neck to me, and I usually go for the thinner feel if I can find them as I have smallish hands. Members sk8centilli
My Sheraton was slim tapered.
Members Fusion1
I have a 98 DOT and it seems thin and kind of narrow IIRC. Wish it was thicker.
Members Elias Graves
Construction also differs, right?Dot is mahogany and Sheraton is maple? EG
