As a follow-up to TinyLick.com, I've just released the first version of FretYou. The difference being that instead of sharing tabs using a web address, you can share fretboard diagrams:

The url for that diagram is: http://FretYou.com?a=H4sIAG2rb00A%2fzMAA0NlNyBAsEE0jI8mhF8aiyy6NLIUkbqxOw0A2TZOtbsAAAA%3d

It's missing some functionality but the basics are there. Let me know what you think!

looks cool, but i'm not installing micro$oft {censored}terlight to use it.

Yeah, I was expecting at least a few responses like this. Bummer. I suppose the good news for me is that anyone who watches Netflix on their computer already has Silverlight. It's just Microsoft's version of Flash, nothing to worry about.

Yeah, silver light's fine. Plays netflix like a champ and I've never had any issues with it on my system. I don't get the resistance. :idk:

An excellent application (page?) that's going to be very helpful. Thanks much for sharing!

I would only add that a 24 fret version would be even more useful...
:)

Thanks! I'm definitely going to add the ability to grow/shrink the fretboard and maybe even rotate it.

Can add the ability to change what note the string is tuned to (thinking drop d, open tunings, etc...)

Add more (or less) strings for folks w/7 and even 8 string axes and bass players.

Very cool though - thanks for sharing yet another cool web app!
