Members The Bear
Traded my SG for it Tuesday this week. Second owner and he said he thought it was white but the original owner, a friend of his, took the paint off. It really doesn't look like it was painted to me. Check out this Brass nut: Brass Bridge Plate and Saddles: With all that brass it sustains like a Mutha'. And Here she is: The neck is beautiful. Nice and full, but a C shape with a 7.25 radius. All Electronics and pickups, Grey Bottoms, are original. I checked it all with Fender for pot dates and they are original. The neck and body are marked as made together, and the nitro finish is about gone. She plays like a Dream and sounds incredible. The bridge has a nice bite without being ear piercing. The middle is full with a perfect amount of bridge and the neck is just Dreamy. The frets are tiny with plenty of life left. This is a keeper. Should I paint it or not? I never played the SG, but I'm gonna' wear this one out.
