going to pre order line 6 JTV 59 but im having trouble settling on color

basically there are three colors

 

black (which I normally would like but think looks horrid on this guitar)

sunburst

and cherry sunburst

 

so its between the last two

Im not HUGE on either color

I think the cherry burst might be better as it doenst look like some of the awful clown bursts ive seen out there, but ive only seen a couple pics.

 

I kind of find the regular burst a little boring

but I think they are neck n neck for me

 

id love to see one in person but I think they are expecting them to just have a small first batch to sell out mostly from pre order and whats the chances that any local store would get both colors of that model (there are three JTV models coming out in a couple different colors each)

 

any thoughts you guys?

I plan on getting the sunburst myself at some point . . . . maybe.

 

That'd be my choice.

 

One of the UK magazines has a review of the Strattier looking of the new Variaxes. Tey seemed to like it quite a bit.

I normally like black too, but in this case, I like the sunburst best.

I'm not a fan of flame, and that black doesn't look bad with the binding.

 

My preference would be black, sunburst, cherryburst.

I like the sunburst. Can you put pickup covers on those? Not sure how they work.

im not sure what it is about the black that I just hate

 

Maybe its the light rosewood neck, the knobs and no pup covers?

 

Like normally Id LOVE black, but its not cutting it.

 

 

Ive already got two surburst guitars

so im thinking the cherryburst but im so wishy washy

im usually really leery about that finish
