Anyone got any idea of what they are worth now? Can't find anything on fleabay. Tanks!
Members bjcarl Posted March 7, 2011 Members Posted March 7, 2011 I'm guessing $300-400 tops. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $250...

Members Grantus Posted March 7, 2011 Members Posted March 7, 2011 You see Toronadoes on ebay frequently, although the racing-stripes models get less than the others, I believe. I'd say $350-ish, maybe a bit more.
Members EllenGtrGrl Posted March 7, 2011 Members Posted March 7, 2011 Yeah, about $400 or $450 max if they have a less common paint job. The original 1998-2000 versions (I had a 1999 Toronado), are worth a little bit more, due to them being a little less common, and having a different bridge and pickups. It's not a bad guitar (I probably wouldn't have sold mine, if it weren't for the fact that I hit a money crunch in 2000, and I needed the money like NOW), but realize that it is a wee bit different from other Fenders, due to the fact that it has a Gibsonish 24.75" scale length.
Members Grantus Posted March 7, 2011 Members Posted March 7, 2011 I assume the neck on those is very similar to my Fender Cyclone's. I like the shorter scale, but still Fender-like neck.
Members Grantus Posted March 7, 2011 Members Posted March 7, 2011 One of the Toronodo GTs with the stripes recently sold on ebay for $300. A solid-color one with the more vintage pickguard sold for $480.
