Members The Bear
Should there be a cap. bridging the two tone pots as shown on this diagram from SD website. This is the standard Strat wiring diagram.Just want to make sure it would be the same for Texas Specials. http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=3s_1v_2t_5w

Members vintage clubber
I wire my tone pots independently with separate caps and connect the neck and bridge lugs on the switch to use the neck tone as a bridge tone as well.

ThanksThere's a brown cap on there now, and the bridge middle dosen't sound right.I'll change it to the.022 Green cap, and see if that changes the tone to more of the bell tone. Now it sounds like more of the bridge. I typically use those or orange drops on most jobs. Occasionally, I will use hovlands or RS Guitarworks caps depending on the guitar. Yes, those are TS that were in the $70 Squier Bullet Strat pawnshop special I got about a year and a half ago. The guitar was a keeper once I got it all set up and wired right.
