Members poolshark
Because I'm on the verge of getting a double bound Telecaster. Is there a downside to the binding, other than being ridiculously sexy? Alternatively, post pictures of bound Teles.
Members fuzwah
Looks great and protects the edges from dings. Binding on teles is cool- especially on black teles.

Members ashasha
I'm in the same exact boat as a matter of fact. I've got a tele body that has some significant chips in it and I'm thinking about redoing it. I want to do a deep blue with white binding and a pearloid pickguard. Members notjonahbutnoah
While I think they are some of the most awesome looking guitars around, I would demand that mine have the arm contour. That sharper corner where my forearm hits would be the dealbreaker, unless I wanted to wear a wristband or something. Of course, that all depends on where you wear your guitar. The brided/pickups are usually parallel/a bit higher than my pants waistband, so if you wear yours up higher, or waaaaaay lower, it's probably not an issue. Just something to think about. I'd bring a strap into GC and play some random bound tele stnading up just to be sure. Other than that, they're awesome. Double bound Teles suck sweaty balls is that what you wanted us to say? ...especially this one, damn. Lately, white guitars are really giving me boners and this thing is... just... damn. Members MojoFilter
Go for it, provided the Tele has a rosewood neck. Rosewood neck Teles MUST have binding. Maple neck Teles MUST NOT HAVE binding. Those are the rules.

Members Westorbust7
Sure, go for it...if you like your guitars to look like furniture. I think binding on any guitar is god awful ugly.
