Members danielleesale
So I acquired one of these, and am wondering how to get the whammy bar to stay in the hole. What am I missing?
Members WRGKMC
The whammy just pushes in. The hole can get worn over time to where the bar is loose. Mine did a littel. I got around it by filling it in with some crazy glue. I put some oil on the bar, put some CA around the hole then push the bar in. it filled in the edges a bit and tightened it up. The only other fix is to get a new bridge. They make some aftermarkey bridges for the knockoffs but I have no idea how good they are. I plan to replace mine eventually but its still finctional so its not a pressing item on my list.

Members danielleesale
Well this is a brand new item. Yeah, it goes in there, but if I for example turn the guitar upside down, or maybe a little bit forwards, it slides out. Is that how it's supposed to be? Members nickeroo
There should be a tiny allen key hole to adjust grip/tension on the arm, right by the whammy bar hole. It strips really easily so take it easy. You can see it in the pic. A small hole by where the arm goes in. If yours has an R Trem, that is. Members jeffrbull@gmail.com
Ok- So I just bought this guitar and noticed this blog on the loose tremolo arm. Mine does have the loose arm brand new and has the set screw hole, but no set screw on either side of the bridge. I guess I have to go to the hardware store and buy the damn things--cheap.
