Members DurangoKid
Small scale fans may be interested in seeing this local write-up of a new option being offered by a buddy of mine. I've been playing on a couple of his for the last few months and it is really a well made guitar that puts out a variety of great sounds. Neck pups offers great clean tones and bridge pup handles anything from compressed country to hi-gain shred. Necks feel great and he personally details every axe that goes out the door. Check it out it if you get a chance. I think you would be blown away by this "bargain boutique"...

Members honeyiscool
If he's your friend, can you tell him that some of us would like a less "hot rod" looking guitar? The guitars have incredible specs for the price, though. I'd love me another nice 24" scale guitar if it didn't look so custom hot rod.
Members WRGKMC
The only problem I dont like about short scales are thay can be a bitch to keep in tune. Having tuners with a high gear ratio can help a whole lot.
Members McCain
There's no problem keeping a 24" in tune using 10's. Or you can tune to F. I've recently re-tuned all my guitars including 25.5 and 24.75 to F standard because imo it sounds better.than E. Rondo makes a pretty nice 24"..I own one.http://www.rondomusic.com/peragro2ts.html

Having tuners with a high gear ratio can help a whole lot. Which ones have you had? My 24" scales stay in tune very well. Those split Kluson tuners are great since they allow the least length of string possible on a tuner. You just need to make sure your saddles and nut are lubricated. 24" is not that short. It's about one fret shorter than a 25.5" scale, or half a fret shorter than a 24.75" scale. It feels about the same as a 25.5" downtuned half a step. Members McCain
That doesn't bother other band members? Being that there aren't any band members it doesn't bother them. But anytime you use a capo you change the tuning.

Members Dr. Scottie C
I have only one complaint with the article..... Brian May is not 6 foot 6.He's tall... but keeping in mind that Freddie, Roger & John were all three 5 foot 9... I can assure youBrian is/was not 9 inches taller than the rest of the members..... Yngwie claims he's 6'4...... Brian May claims he's 6'2 (plus hair)...... standing side by side, they are essentially the same height. But back on topic....solid looking geetar and a great idea! Yea, I first got that impression from the article ... small town hero makes good kind of puff piece. Not that there is anything wrong with importing your own line, just that the article left out the negotiating with Chinese factorys part of the story. And yea, got it .. I'll be making wood chips fly today ... Thanks
