Members nrandall85
Picked this thing up on Craigslist for $150- the original owner "reliced" it himself. That part I'm not exactly crazy about, but he didn't go overboard and I ended up saving a lot of cash. I'll have to second everything that has been said before about these guitars- incredible fretwork, great pickups, quality hardware (tuners especially- tremolo block is the only major weakness I can spot). I would put it up against anything made in Mexico, and it would be a close match up between some of the MIA's I've played. I put a GFS SS tremolo block in, along with an aluminum pickguard shield. My only complaint is that I'm used to a slightly fatter neck. The neck on this guitar is comparable to CIJ Fender's that I've played. I think I'm going to leave the electrical tape on the headstock, as it is kind of hilarious.
Members D Carroll
The electrical tape fits it's hype as a damn fine guitar regardless of name, i'd keep it. HNGD.
Members fretmonster
Nice score on a great guitar; and I actually like the relic job better than the roadworns. Congratulations.
Members billybilly
Nice score! If it were mine, I'd hit the wood filler, sandpaper and spray to your liking!
