Members Larry the Dog
Anyone ever play one of these? They look pretty nice-LP style, no heel neck. Does anyone know what the 2 mini switches are for? Coil taps? Phase? Sustainer? What? By enricopolazzo at 2011-04-
Members Mr.Grumpy
I own a similar model, I believe it's a PE-1500. Mine is gloss black, 1 volume, 1 tone and a 1-piece bridge/tailpiece that is unique to these guitars. Mine is 25 1/2" scale, but I think some PE's were built with the 24 3/4 scale. I'd bet $$ the mini-switches are coil taps. I mine, it came with DiMarzio superdistortions from the factory. It's built like a Les Paul so it's heavy like one too. Check out this website for more info on these and the company that made them. http://www.matsumoku.org/arai_matsumoku.html

Hope this helps, Mike

Phil O'Keefe
Then again, it can't hurt, and it might just help someone who has a similar question later...
