Members A_Gitarman
I've been meaning to build one of these for months now... in fact, I've already got an unused humidor, several 'extra' guitar necks, tuners, bridges, & electronics... Heck, all I'd have to do is reinforce the area of the humidor where I want to attach the neck & slap on an old top-mount tele bridge, etc... Weekend project, here I come -probably not this weekend, though... the wife has family coming into town
Members ok4450
Here's a pic of my recently completed homemade one. Being a mechanic by trade and a non-stop tinkerer I threw this together mostly out of junk that was lying around. The back is off right now and a small switch has been added beneath the pickup. That is going to be for an internal homemade boost circuit. It's a real Jekyll and Hyde guitar; nice Dobro sustain as an acoustic and it flat screams when amplified, boost or no. http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/gg268/bluesnut/SANY0488.jpg
