Members jshaffer20
I got my Dimarzio 36th anniversary PAF in the mail Saturday and installed it in the neck of my Agile AL-2000 tonight. Man what a difference!!! The Dimarzio is VERY nice sounding and sounds very clear and articulate in chords and lead parts. After I did that I took my Ibanez SZ 520 with Duncan JB and removed the screw poles from the bridge pickup. Someone mentioned to me that I need to try this so I gave it a shot. I wish I had done this sooner!!! It weakens the output just enough to clear up the tone and give it a single coil type of vibe. It might actually be closer to a P90. I have only played one guitar with P90's and it gave me instant GAS. So if anyone wants that kind of tone from a humbucker give it a shot. It might work for you as well. The good thing is that it's reversible and easy to do. I will try to make a video of them to show you guys.
