Tried all of these amps for a short period of time today with an Am Std Strat (was doin some research for a future purchase on a Fender-y amp)

Blues Jr Mark III

Sounded much better than the older versions, decent Fendery clean, improved reverb, tweedy overdrive. Low end was a slight improvment over old BJrs but still not great...still had that boxy and brash tone. Overall a definite improvement over the older version.

Fender Supersonic 22

Much better cleans than the BJrIII, at lower volumes it was almost like if you lifted a blanket off the Bjr. Decent low end but not great. 2 channels, the burn channel sounds interesting. It can go from slight distortion to pretty high gain. Reverb was not bad. I like this amp more than the Bjr but it's also a much higher price.... It's supposed to be based off of the DRRI so the cleans are similar. The cab though seems smaller but I'm not sure if it is.

Egnater Tweaker combo

Capable of a lot of different sounds and lots of combinations of tones with the switches. I played mostly with the USA setting. The clean can get very Fendery. I was able to get about 85% of the way to your classic Fender tone. I cranked the preamp gain and it didn't sound great. Kind of like a fuzzy tweed champ OD... didn't have a chance to crank the master on this amp or any of the other amps. Good value and has a variety of sounds for those who have tone ADD.

Mustang III

Decently versatile and sounds good for a digital modeling amp. I was more impressed by the cleans than the OD sounds. But if you need a practice amp or a versatile recording amp then this would def be the way to go, esp with the low price.

Did they have the fuze software installed on the Mustang?

Testing a Mustang without the fuze is like testing other amps without using any of the EQ knoobs.

Never tried a Fender Supersonic 22. Are they a harsh amp like the BJ. ?
