Members BlackHatHunter
As part of my work with www.LearnTheUkulele.com, I was interviewed by Ukulele Player Magazine. Interestingly enough, Mickey Maguire, who is the main writer for the mag, was instrumental - no pun intended - in my taking up the uke, as he answered many of my questions about tunings, uke sizes and what brands/models to look into. You can read more (including the interview itself) here.

Members Sheraton
Thanks. My 15 year old daughter just took up the Ukulele and I forwarded her the link. I love your teaching style and I have introduced several friends and family members starting out on guitar to ThreeChordGuitar.com. So if I haven't said it before, thanks! Members JoJo68
Very cool. A friend of mine introduced me to ukes. He builds them. I'd love to run one through my orange stack sometime !
Members twotimingpete
btw, I played a little ukelele long before I ever played a guitar. when I was a little kid my gramps had one and played it sometimes. he taught me a few chords when I was like 7 years old and I strummed away. I'd love to run one through my orange stack sometime ! Jake Shimabukuro, who is so much more than possibly the best exponent of the ukulele, had this little rant online about how he used to have tons of effects and use distortion live, and that he one day decided to just go back to the uke natural tone, because that's what he is, a uke player Still, it's FUN!!! Members BlackHatHunter
Thanks Stack! Couldn't have done it without ya Between the info you shared and the cool links to your own playing you posted, and your invaluable advice, I really got inspired to pick up this fun little 4-chord beast. While I still love the guitar as much as I did before, my love for the uke has grown to reach levels I didn't suspect. Fun times for sure
