Members Brainfertilizer
By the way, the guitar rocks. With all the personal care and attention spent on this, it seems like overkill. But it is beautiful, with a nice wood grain that I think is ash, a wonderful engine-turned pickguard, nicely-toned maple fretboard...and only two extremely minor dings that I only see when I'm looking for them. The trem stays in tune pretty well...even with the string bar behind the nut! I've ordered roller trees to replace that, and will probably add locking tuners (I have a set in my parts box that's been there for 2 years since I discovered the holes didn't match a guitar I liked too much to put new holes into). I've been thinking: should I replace the nut and/or saddles with roller versions? Or just see how well it does with the roller trees and locking tuners?
