Members mediocreplayer
Lennon on the Casino for sure. You can even hear him flicking the switch at various points in the song when he goes from the intro to the riff/melody. Have to look up what George was playing, but I don't think it was a Casino. At that period he was mostly playing the RW Tele and a Lester.
Members DaleH
Wiki Three takes from 22 February were edited into a master (second generation), which was overdubbed, mixed down on 18 April (third generation), and overdubbed on 18 April, 20 April and 11 August. Different overdubs were made to the second generation tape on 8 August. The mix is the third generation for 4:37 (up to "She's So") and then the second generation tape, which has white noise (produced by the Moog synthesizer, played by Lennon) and additional drums added on 8 August. The overdub session for "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" was the last time all four Beatles worked in the studio together. The final master lasted 8:04, but Lennon decided on a surprise ending. During the final edit with the guitars, drums and white noise climaxing to no end, he told Emerick to "cut it right there" at the 7:44 mark, bringing the song (and side one of the album) to an abrupt end. True - I'd say there's a pre-Sabbath flavour in it (just imagine Iommi playing it with his trademark tone - it works).

Doesn't surprise me it has that twangy heaviness, I figured it was a Casino but though it sounded like a Strat as well
Members slicepaperdavid
And yeah the outro riff is heavy as hell, maybe my favorite riff of all time
Members Agitator
Um Helter Skelter? More Punk/Garage rock than metal, IMO. See the comment about Tony Iommi playing "I Want You".
Members c10
Motley Crue "borrowed" that outro on one of the songs from "Dr. Feelgood". I don't feel like digging up the CD.
