Members guitardoodsez
Since we're talking cheap guitars (I'll post some of my pics later) can anyone tell me if the tele copies from SX, Agile, or Xaviere are routed to fit a HB in the neck? Thx I was able to fit a mini in mine:
Members zuzuman
I tried to get one but they were out. The fit, finish, and playability is about the same as on other Daisy Rocks: very good for the price. I actually dig the stock pickups, and the combo of tones you can get with the slider switches is great. I am sure it would sound even better with better pickups. I've got a pinkish-purple one I can let you have for super cheap if you want to try it out. It's got a couple of finish cracks (neck pocket and back of neck near headstock), but it seems stable, so I am 99% sure the damage is not structural. Members IBDBB
SX GG1 QUOTE] I wonder how hard it would be to remove the poly from this and give it a more "satin" finish.....
Members dcindc
I've been considering that. I have an old one with block inlays that has lotsa dings on it.
Members Mike Fiasco
I had an SX GG1 Jr., too and it has a very think coat of poly. Lucky for you, _pete_ had a thread about scuffing up the poly coat of his Epi LP with scotchbrite. Sounds primitive, but if you search the thead, it was really impressive. Members bzja
Two jacks? Is there a separate line for each pup? This is a Fretlight body, it had 2 holes. I installed 2 jacks, wired parallel. In case one stops working?
Members bzja
Win!! Which minis did you use? GFS? Armstrong? Sorry it took so long to reply, snowstorm here, shoveled drive. Then dinner, it's a hunger thing. These are Artec pickups. eBAY for $16.00 each or so. I really like the tone, nice growl. I also have them installed in a Dillion Goldtop.
