Members Yngtchie Blacksteen
Don't see that a lot, but I figure that would be the best pickup combination, at least for my uses.

Members kit_strong
I opted for the BG Strat90s myself. Works great for me and looks like a plain ole SSS strat
Members brandass
I opted for the BG Strat90s myself. Works great for me and looks like a plain ole SSS strat That's what I did too - SC-sized P90 in bridge, V60s in mid and neck. Totally slays, really happy with the results. Members guitarcapo
P-90's are kind of bright sounding. I dunno I always go to the bridge pickup only for overdrive sounds and I think humbuckers do that better.

Members tlbonehead
One of my guitars has two lipsticks with a P90 in the bridge.
Members BeanoBoy
A fellow guitarist tells me that Debbie Davies ( the Blues guitarist) puts P-90s in her Strats.
Members honeyiscool
1) It looks weird.2) Way too close to the volume knob.3) Does not fit in standard routing (or swimming pool, even). Meanwhile, humbucker routing is super versatile, and P94 style pickups can be pretty great.
Members DaleH
I want to bild a H/P/H tele. Johnny Lang uses two XL500 pickups with a P90 middle in his CS tele. I think it could work in a strat...or one of the BG humbucker sized Pure 90s would be sweet.
Members scottgd
Because it would then not be a HSS configuration it would be a SSS configuration. Therefore it HAS to be a humbucker.

Therefore it HAS to be a humbucker.I know, but I'm just thinking about wanting a fatter sound in the bridge, that maybe a P90 could be a less extreme option than a humbucker, that it'd be more somehow balanced.
