Members wagdog
Just an update: While I've complained about the way VHT handled this warranty replacement, the dealer couldn't have been more helpful. They got my nonworking amp today, and are shipping out a new one the same day. They've responded to my emails promptly and professionally. So if you're in need of gear and like to support mom-and-pop businesses, these guys have my endorsement: http://www.soundscheapinc.com/ Well that's great to hear man. Hope the new one works out for ya.
Members MrPFloyd
Sort of OT, but keeping broken down boxes around the home is a bit of a fire hazard people! Lol what? thats like saying having paper around the house is a fire hazard.
Members BryanMichael
In defense of VHT, having you work through the dealer was actually the BEST way to handle your particular problem. That's why they have dealer networks. You return it to the dealer and get a brand new amp (you win!) and the dealer returns the broken amp to VHT as a defective product and they get their wholesale cost back (the dealer wins!) and VHT doesn't tie up their repair guys for $200 in labor costs on a $300 amp (VHT wins!)
