So what exactly IS your point, if you have one? That if someone is successful, it's okay to steal their {censored}?

That's a moronic position to take.

He's just being a contrarian. It's quite childish, really. In his mind, he's saying "don't cry over spilled milk"; trying to make the point that Tom can go out and buy more. His superiority complex tells him that to acknowledge a sentimental attachment to an inanimate object is stupid, which of course, it isn't. For example: my most sentimental guitar is my first, given to me by my dad from his own personal collection. I can't express the sense of elation and pride I felt when I finished restoring it a few months ago. I'd never consider selling it, and if anything were to happen to it I would be devastated.

If I may take a cheap shot at Frank... Learn to use a {censored}ing keyboard. There's no excuse for illiteracy in the first-world. If you're from my generation, then you're reaffirming the stereotype that we're apathetic, lazy wasters. If you're older... Then that's just terrible.

I don't really care if he has the money to buy whatever he wants. He's just a cool and humble guy with a ton of talent that has helped many people along the journey. I've got a lot of respect for Tom. It's pretty low to steal, but to steal from someone like that?

So basically, they're not allowed to want their guitars back?

How is the reward thing tacky?

They got ripped off and they'd like to have ATHEIR stuff back.

They'll do far better going the insurance route IMO because they can over-value things and they have a full-time guitar tech who can attest to the 'over-value'.

I don't think anyone is pitying the multi-millionaire but they have compassion for someone having something stolen from them.

You are a mprime example of your 'de-evolution: it's more plausible than you think' 'signature'.

Perhaps if you have something stolen, someone will be there to yell 'boo hoo' in earshot.

I say there should be a class theft law, if they're richer than you, steal all you want. They can totally just buy more, so who cares?

Yeah...if frankthomson was the 'leader' of this new world...and then, of course, he'd settle it all *old school*.

Like how does *old school* work?

Do you paste wanted signs up in all of the villages? Do you get a good horse and go search for the thieves while wearing a six-shooter and a set of chaps with a big hat? Do you tell the sherriff?

Good think frank said "i like to show u kids how stupid u look".

I was really hoping he'd go for the dyslexia excuse

Besides, violence would be counter-productive. In this case, it'd show a flaw in perception of the situation, like it usually does. Smashing that which has slighted you is the most simplistic and barbaric course of action. We're highly evolved and/or intelligently created beings, after all. We can solve things better than that.

Too bad "older" doesn't equal "literate" or "intelligent".

We won't even get into your lack of knowledge of the difference between a security system at a place owned by Petty and the security system at a place used by Petty as a rehearsal space at Culver Studios.
