Members gretschzildjian
I'd definitely go for Matt Cameron. I love the stuff he plays on Badmotorfinger. His drums sound too dry on that record though. They sound better on Superunknown. And he's amazing on Pearl Jam's Binaural album. Yep, Matt's got my vote. Members stapes2260
i'd take matt cameron over david grohl any day. Dave abruzzense (spelling ?) from pearl jam is pretty nasty too.

Members rumblebelly
Matt is uses some technical flair at times and Dave is great at driving a band. They are both pretty good but in different ways.

Members 1001gear
I don't care much for the genre. Lotta banging - force for aesthetic, ugly for drama/profundity, beat, fill, snore etc...although I count 3 STP tunes I really like.

It really shows what the youth of the day was like

It's just that the tunes (like most guitar rock) tend to go nowhere except worn out.

It was just dished out throughout the next 4 decades what the music scene of the youth would be.

All of a sudden, any reverb anywhere; on and on...
