Members jokerjkny
i had both the Flexi glide and Power glide. the Flexi is the strap version, and has a lighter overall weight. has a really fast feel, but lacks some power. good if you're a heel down guy, but kinda awkward for heel up. still, if you want the fastest pedal this is it. the Power is the accelerated chain version. similar to DW's 5000AD accelerator. tho, it has a heavier feel in the toe area than the Flexi glide, it prolly has the best balanced feel. i like it alot. great for heel up and heel down. but it also has LOTS of power on tap. makes my bass drum sing like a banshee. overall, the Tama IC's have a great feel, and awesome power with little movement. its my fav. Members frankenfangs
The rolling glide has a round cam and the power is equal the whole way thru the stroke. They have a very smooth feel. The power glide has an half moon type shape to it, and more power is delivered as the beater reaches the end of the stroke. Hope this helps
Members sekler
so...for fast and heavy double bass rolls, you guys suggest the powerglide right ? it seems to be the one that would maybe suit best my needs...I'll try it before though.. thanks
Members jokerjkny
get the Power Glide. the Rolling might seem slower to you.
