Members pulseint
Hi, I'm looking for input on what the most happening "hand made" cymbal on the market is outside of the BIG THREE (Zildjian, Sabian & Paiste). Looking for a ride that has the quality of being able to build to a certain point and then just pure stick definition after the initial build .... (Like the old constantanoples) ... and can also be used for light crashing. Also looking for a nice set of hi hats with warm shimmering qualities with a clean "chick" sound. I can't find what I am looking for in the big 3 and want to stretch to hand made cymbals. Please send me your reviews/responses. Thanks ... Members robert-jan
Ok I will say sorry for what maybe looks abit like advertising.. As you will see In my signature you will find that I endorse Masterwork cymbals .. So it will look a bit cheap to should it around on a board but heee if they wernt nice I wouldnt endorse them.... So, masterwork, what s the deal? Yes its another brand from Istanbul,Yes again there are former employees of Istanbul-cymbals involved,No its not the same. In my opinion they offer some new series besides the already exciting sereis you would fined in Istanbul turkish and Bosphorus, With the new Jazzmaster you will fnd a bit of resamblance of the old K thing but no i wont say its the new version of the old K,but they are close! I think hearing what you would like to have it would be nice to look into the Jazzpointer series, they are somewhat thicker then jazzmaster and have a great defenition but still a nice wash.. Have a look at www.masterworkcymbals.net for the US/ canada Masterworkcymbals.de for germany or Masterworkcymbal.com for the factory site.
