Members jazzbluesrock69
hey. don't want to get into the whole emo/ghey debate but an idea for your band's name is to go for a sort of controversial name what i mean is go for the shock value in some way: either just be up front about it (so call yourself the Taliban or something stupid) or do some research... there's a band at the moment called the White Rose Movement, who named themselves after some Neo-nazi party. Sometimes political things are cool, and hopefully if you do name yourselves after a nazi movement or something you won't all get called Nazis or whatever. good luck

(ie: people Nazis targeted) among many other things... but their main claim to fame is the pamphlets. ANTI-Nazi... not neo-Nazi (big {censored}ing difference). And yeah... "The Taliban" IS a stupid name.

I mean, there are definately a lot neo-Nazi movements to name yourself after... Sorry about getting snappy. In 7th grade I had a huge crush on Anne Frank upon reading her diary (yeah, I'm weird), and subsequently became very passionate about anti-Nazism (the White Roses being my favorite, partially coz I eventually developed a crush on one of the founders, Sophie Scholl). Yeah, I realise I'm {censored}ing nuts.
Members HEPNOTIC
its really hard controversy in a one to 5 words for a band name, but if you really wanted to be controversial, you could name your band Expose yourself to children

Members Delle_Rose
Re: Controversy A friend of mine once had a band named "Abort Your Mom"... Didn't last. The problem with controversial names is that only REALLY uptight people are offended by them or find them controversial. Everyone else just thinks they're boring and stupid and trying too hard.
