Members DRuM
Possibly a drum shop, but I might be clutching at straws there. http://www.brookmays.com/prod_disp.asp?itemnum=RBS6514

Members DRuM
Possibly, but it's a start. The really good ones will most likely be a lot more expensive. I would be looking for good second hand snares if it were me.
Members frozin
Conaway sells brass snares from worldmax and I got the 6.5x14 "red brass" shell (with no bead in the middle) a couple years ago, love it. It's probably a little over budget but worth a look into.

I put coated Studio X and Classic Clear SS heads on it and Puresound snare wires and it KILLS. I have no experience with their brass snares, but if they're as good as my copper snare, $150-200 is a bargain.

I played slingerland for years...I just recently sold one of my Slingerland kit's acctualy (Still have the vintage one) and I also have a crome coated Steel Radio King. I love that drum, probably the best one I have. But I was always alittle iffy on the Music-Yo stuff, because they were student level imports, and not the classica American made Slingerlands...however I found out that Slingerland is back in America!!! Can't wait to see them in stores again. But anyway...I ordered my snare from Peace today. I figure, they give me a huge discount, and are willing to endorsme me for my upcoming US tour, so why not. I am haveing them make me a 5.5" x 14" 9ply maple snare, in black laqure, and all black heardwear. Should be killer!!! I always order custome from them, this way my whole kit is one of a kind. I'll have to post pics of it sometime.
