Members ulank Posted May 8, 2004 Members Posted May 8, 2004 3 in 1?WD40? Any other ideas? On some old pedals, a little vaseline seemed to work best for noisy springs. Anyway, my pedals could use a little clean up and attention, just wondering what some of you use and/or do to keep them smooth and sqeaky clean. Thanks!
Members Ignited Posted May 9, 2004 Members Posted May 9, 2004 Pretty simple really. That's what I love about my IC's because they don't require heavy maintenance. I usually just spray the moveable parts every couple weeks with some wd-40. Not long ago I got my hands on some silicone lubricant spray and it worked really well too. But some wd40 should do the trick.
Members F.F. Woodycooks Posted May 9, 2004 Members Posted May 9, 2004 I lube my "chain" with good ol' jergens lotion. Oh. You mean your bass drum pedal chain. Well then wd-40 does the trick. Just control where you spray it because that stuff smells aweful.
