I use tama Iron Cobra single chain rolling glide

recomend the Tama Camco double pedal

Tough smooth.

but if you have an unlimited budget,

I would suggest buying another bass drum.

The action is much better using seperate pedals and drums.

also

Pearl Accelerator

light foot hitter - alluminum Axis pedals

dw are too expensive for the same job.

Yamaha copied Tama pedals

Any other particular brands you're looking for?

Best bang for your buck?? Iron Cobra is the way to go. I think they're great pedals because they're a great balance between sturdiness and smoothness. You could put them through hell and they'll still have that smooth action. And in many cases they come with a free carrying case, interchangeable beaters, etc.

Just checked out the Iron Cobra's at MF. looks good. Played a DW-5000 today, Nice action, $300 out the door. Decisions................

If you go with the DW 5000's deffinitly go with the Turbo cams. I believe they'll be marked as DW 5000TB. Even though the AC cams have more appeal to them because they're sapposed to be "Faster" I find that they slow you down quite a bit. I've tried both, and I highly recommend the Turbo cams.
