We're gunna lay it down tomorrow night at Otto's Shrunken Head. If anyone is around 14th street in NYC, come check it out. It's gunna be an all surf rock night (4 bands) + rum drinks in tiki heads.thumb.gif

According to Gary Paxton, who produced "Monster Mash", Jesse Sailes was the drummer on the original version of "Monster Mash". Jesse also plays on "Let's Dance" by Chris Montez and all the early Robins/Coasters tracks that were recorded in Los Angeles, including "Riot In Cell Block # 9" and "Searchin'." And Hal Blaine is the drummer on "The Lonely Bull", according to none other than Hal himself.

That's awesome information. Do you know if Jesse is the drummer on "Yakety Yak" and "Charlie Brown". The groove on "Yakety Yak" is just killin. I believe that King Curtis was the sax player on that as well. So glad you posted this information.
