Members mooshu_the_undead_chicken
Yar, so I found some of my mother and father's LP's in the basement earlier, and they even include............Elvis Presely original LP's! only problem is, that when I took em out, they were warped enough to break my needle on the old record player. Question is, is there any way to fix the LP or to flatten it out? I wanna listen to "you ain't nothin but a hound-dog"
Members GoldSeraph
This is the only way I know, and it doesn't work every time. Go to local home depot or whatnot and ask them to cut you two 13" by 13" pieces of sheet glass. Put the warped record between the two pieces to make a sandwich of sorts. Then you can either leave it in the hot sun for an hour or so, or put it in the oven at less than 200 degrees for about five minutes. This will cause the vinyl to heat up and between the glass, it will have nowhere to go but to flatten out.
