Plus I'm gonna start with.....AFFORDABLE!

 

All of the amps do far were $500 and under. That way I can test out amps that more people can afford and also but a lot more at once and knock out more amps that way.

The one I really would like you to do is a 70's SVT though...several of forumites have them and it would be interesting to see what you think... ;) You won't get your sound switching capability (I do that stuff in front of the amp) but it IS a readily available amp and kind of a benchmark...:)

I see 'em all the time going for $800-$1200. I'll pick one up here in the next couple of months. It's definitely on the list.

Hmm...the Trace V-8 was so sweet amp too...;)

 

And the Peavey Classic 400 doesn't sound half bad too....but the weight...:D
