I love how you say that :D Reminds me of my friend's brother... He had a beater car worth less than the gas in the tank, as did his friend. They'd play bumper cars for fun... One day he was pulled over and was asked if he was in an accident... He replied "nope. But I was a bunch of on-purposes" That always makes me giggle.

I'm a cook, I think. In the last 48 hours i've been to work twice, but not done anything. I don't get paid really well, but I compensate. ;) I do enjoy it. I suppose i'd be called a 1st cook. I'm not a sous chef, but the next line of defence. I'd like to get into a field where i'd make more money, but I don't want to have less fun. I'm gonna go with it until July... My 24th birthday. Thats when I'm going to put some real thought into the rest of my life.

Unix / Storage admin working for a bank. Sun / AIX / Linux and now... Windows support.

I guess that makes me a Unix / Windows / Storage admin. Maybe that's why my title is Systems Programmer Specialist  Of course, my job has only a little to do with programming, "but it's not programming, it's systems programming which is more than just systems administration" as I can hear my boss say

Whatever boss, it just confuses people unless you're in an old IBM shop.

Basically I support the company's ERP software & write reports and a bit of code.

This week I'm in Austin,TX doing internal quality audits though.

There are a lot of indonesian restaurants around, but most of them are run by chinese and have a blend of chinese/indonesian cuisine, most of it bad.

The restaurant I'm working is a pretty modern, trendy a-la-carte place, think Jamie Oliver in vietnamese.
I work for a great chef and we have a young team with a lot of cute waitresses
:D
The funny thing is, I'm the only dutch guy in the kitchen.

No, I'm not a real chef, I haven't taken any of the tests (except for the mandatory hygiene diplomas), I meant to say I work as a chef.

until recently, the foodsafe tests were needed by only ONE MEMBER OF THE STAFF WORKING AT ONE TIME!

Disgusting.

These days, everyone has it.

I'm an Educational Assistant with the Toronto District School Board working with kids JK to grade 6. Easily the best day job I've ever had. I've just applied for B.Ed programs to become a full-on teacher. Before that I was a scenic artist for film and TV. That was fun but the work was too inconstant.
