Didn't even realize I was that close. Thought I had hunderds to go. Just happened to look at my count. Wow! Time flies when you're wasting time! :D

Shapely brunettes, redheads, blonds, w/ or w/o leather, silk, nylons, etc. Yeah! OOh, and good beer!

Thanks guys, for making this such a memorable moment!

Got it just over a week ago...

"Jerzy Drozd Excellency IV/36 fretless

Here we have a really cool bass. I feel it should be a law that every bass player own and play a fretless - hey , that's just me. If you feel the same way, and you need a fretless, let me suggest you check out this baby. The top is a tinted Quilted Maple , the body Etimoe. The neck is 3 piece Wenge with a thick slab of Ebony for the fretboard. 36 frets !! Great for singing sustained tones as well as pizzicato playing. The pickup is Jerzy's split single coil humcancelling , and we will include a dual coil drop in replacement , so you can determine which is best for you. The preamp is the Aguilar 3 band. "

As copied from this thread yesterday:

"I didn't really announce it.... ..... .....

Actually went looking for the Signature 5, but this one kept talking to me. Actually was looking for a high-end fretted 5. Wound up with a high-end fretless 4 instead.

That's okay! This one kept talking to me. From the moment I saw it on the site. And I didn't play it on the first round. But I did the second. And it kept talking to me. And well, it's been mine, all mine, for a little over a week.

It's a tone monster! AND, I guess due to so many years of URB, clean intonation is less of a struggle for me than clean fretting, so I feel I've gained a great advantage in my playing. But the bottom line is, it's just so much fun! It really suits me.

And, it's spurring me on to finish the Gecko."
