Members bruto Posted June 8, 2005 Members Posted June 8, 2005 I bought this for about $200 last Saturday: A Yamaha CS10 analog synth, circa 1979. It's monophonic and only one VCO, but it produces some wild sounds. I ran my Zoom 506II between it and my bass amp, and the sound is just huge - a great analog / digital hybrid. I posted a review of it on the Synth User Reviews:Yamaha CS10 Review
Members Jazz Ad Posted June 8, 2005 Members Posted June 8, 2005 Basses apart, analogic synths are by far the funniest music tools.
Members james on bass Posted June 8, 2005 Members Posted June 8, 2005 Don't know why I got rid of my Roland Juno 6.
Members T. Alan Smith Posted June 9, 2005 Members Posted June 9, 2005 That thing's cool as hell. Analong synths rock! Well, analong ANYTHING rocks. I've got a mint JX3P.
Members bruto Posted June 9, 2005 Author Members Posted June 9, 2005 I just made a few samples with the CS10 synth running through the Zoom506. Here they are with a beat added. I created this fast as I have to go to work soon, so please excuse the lousy recording. analog synth sample song
