Members beav2k2 Posted June 14, 2005 Members Posted June 14, 2005 I'm looking at picking up one of the new exlarge exlong pedalboard from Rondo which is @39. That's all good, but the shipping? 20.38!!1!!! That's insane. I'm going to call up Kurt and see if this is a glitch or something...
Members oneinchshawn Posted June 14, 2005 Members Posted June 14, 2005 Maybe it weighs 30 pounds? Sure hope not tho...
Members Jumpy Posted June 14, 2005 Members Posted June 14, 2005 Its prob oversize 1 which means that it gets billed at 30lbs.

Members Oingy Posted June 15, 2005 Members Posted June 15, 2005 UPS wanted 275$ to ship a bass from the US to here. THAT's sick.
Members Joey Joe Joe Posted June 15, 2005 Members Posted June 15, 2005 I was just complaining about the same thing right here! To ship it to Canada, that $39.95 pedalboard is $120!! Does anyone want to buy it for me and ship it over as a 'gift'?

The guitar won't eat the delicious meal they serve. That's why the ticket costs so much. It's that delicious food.
Members jbryant8159 Posted June 15, 2005 Members Posted June 15, 2005 {censored}e, I recently sent a bass in a box to another HCBF member 5 states over with an insurance value of 250 bucks. It was like $12.50. If a bass in a box ain't oversize I don't know what is. I think the original shipping from Rondo (same distance basically) was about 20+ for some reason.
Members bholder Posted June 15, 2005 Members Posted June 15, 2005 I got two of them a while back, they're pretty big, much thicker than I expected, so I'm going with the "oversize" explanation. I honestly don't remember what shipping was, though. Using one for my effects and the other as a mobile recording thingie...
Members Zeromus-X Posted June 15, 2005 Members Posted June 15, 2005 Well, go to www.ups.com and figure it out yourself.
