Members 1tallbassguy Posted June 24, 2005 Members Posted June 24, 2005 Its on a gift card.I broght some gear that up there that I have become sick of looking at, and decided to trade it in there since I cannot sell it. CV Subs Crest Power Ampand a crossover. I traded it all for a pair of speaker stands and a 362 Sonic Maximizer. Then there was $260 bucks leftover for future purchases. Does Musicians Friend take those? The guy in the store wasnt sure. Anyway, I have downsized my PA and it actually sounds great. Somthing happens when you get the speakers off the floor. Plus I love what a Maximizer does to CD music. My band usually uses my guitarists PA, so mine sits here in the house. Makes a great stereo system. All YamahaS155IV (pair)Yamaha mixer board MG12/4and Yamaha pwer amp P5000S I use NAD stereo equipment and it sounds great!
Members oneinchshawn Posted June 24, 2005 Members Posted June 24, 2005 I might have to try running a cd player through a PA at home sometime.

Out of curiosity, do you really like that Yammy board? I'm thinking about getting the MG16/4, but don't know anyone that had one. Anything you don't like about it?

I like the ability to rack mount and all the connections are not on the face of the board, they're on the top, 90 degrees, where they belong.
